今日もほとんど読書量はなし。昨日読み始めたBeautiful Dataは、前から読むよりは興味のわく章を読むべき、と思い直し、Peter Norvig先生の章を読み始め。わくわくする。まあ知ってる内容のはずですが……。なんせ書き出しがコレですし。
Most of this book deals with data that is beautiful in the sense of Baudelaire: "All which is beautiful and noble is the result of reason and calculation." This chapter's data is beautiful in Thoreau's sense: "All men are really most attracted by the beauty of plain speech."
